Police Investigate Rollover Reported On North Pembroke Road: Watch

Police, firefighters, the Tri-Town Ambulance were sent to the road on Saturday after a crash; dispatch says the driver fled from the scene.

PEMBROKE, NH — Pembroke police, firefighters, and the Tri-Town Ambulance were sent to a rollover crash on North Pembroke Road on Saturday.

Around 1:30 a.m., capital region fire dispatch received a call about a crash on the road near Borough Road. The caller reported the driver appeared to be trying to exit the vehicle to flee, dispatch said.

The vehicle was a Honda, possibly a CR-V.

After firefighters blocked the road and established a command frequency, one confirmed the driver had fled the area.

“We’ll be looking further,” they said.

A utility unit also arrived at the scene. Lights were also set up to assist in illuminating the area.

Firefighters cleared the scene and handed over the scene to police just after 2 a.m.
