Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash in Concord
Breaking: Concord Fire and Rescue teams, police were sent to Hoit Road and Mountain Road for a crash this afternoon.
CONCORD, NH — Concord Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident involving a sedan that allegedly fled the scene after striking a motorcycle. The accident reportedly occurred at around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 5, 2016. According to scanner chatter, police are searching for a white car – maybe a Honda or a Nissan – which fled the area toward Penacook or I-93 Exit 17.
Brian Blackden of Pepperspray Defense in Penacook took this photo at the scene and stated that the motorcyclist was injured in the crash. An off-duty Penacook Rescue EMT on the way home from work was the first one on the scene, stabilized patient until Concord Station 5 responded, according to Blackden.
Police are currently searching the area for the vehicle which might have possible black paint transfer from the motorcycle.
