Police Lockdown Cleared at Pembroke Academy
High school shutdown while police, K-9 units "conduct a random search for contraband," according to an alert.

Pembroke Academy was in a lockdown earlier this morning while law enforcement agencies conducted “a random search for contraband within the school,” according to an alert.
The school, according to officials, was searched for about 45 minutes. Local and state officials, including K-9 units, were present with administrators during the procedure. Students were “safely locked down in their classrooms,” according to the alert. After the search, the lockdown was lifted and school business continued like any normal day.
Police are asking anyone with concerns or questions about the lockdown to contact the academy’s administration at 603-485-7881.
