Police: Salem Woman Assaults Husband and then a Firefighter

Ingrid Bochman was arrested on Sunday after incident in her home.

A local woman will be in court in July after an incident at her home on Old Rockingham Road on Sunday, according to a report.

Police allege that Ingrid Bochman, 61, assaulted both her husband and a local firefighter on May 26, 2015.

Officers along with fire and rescue teams were called to the home at around 7:15 p.m. for an abandoned 911 call, according to Lt. Joel Dolan of Salem Police Department.

Dispatch was able to call the residence back and spoke with a woman, later identified as Bochman. During the conversation, she allegedly made threats against herself. When officers arrived, they learned that Bochman had allegedly assaulted her husband before calling 911.

“As the woman was being treated by fire personnel she became combative and pushed one of the firefighters, striking him in the chest,” Dolan noted.
