Possible Fatal Rollover on I-89

UPDATED: New Hampshire State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash, one of three, on the Interstate on Sept. 30.

New Hampshire State Police crash investigations were on I-89 just before Exit 2 North in the median on Sept. 30, 2015, investigating a possible fatal rollover accident involving two vehicles.

The crash, one of three today on the Interstate, slowed traffic on both sides of the highway.

Officials requested commuters avoid the area until the accident was cleared and the investigation completed. The scene was cleared at 1:17 p.m., according to the NH DOT.

According to scanner chatter, two ambulances were called to the scene and then one was turned away after a trooper reported a code gray situation, meaning someone had passed away due to the crash.

At around 8:30 a.m., NH DOT on Twitter posted an accident notice near Exit 2, which cleared about an hour later. Another accident near Exit 2 was reported at 10:15 a.m. and quickly reduced to one lane. At around 11:15 a.m., a third accident near Exit 3 was also reported involving a Toyota Matrix. The vehicle was quickly towed from the scene.
