Possible Shooting Reported On Cherry Street

Breaking: Concord Police and Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the Hollis Commons Apartments on Cherry Street for an incident tonight.

CONCORD, NH — Concord Police and Fire and Rescue teams were called to Cherry Street for an assault incident with at least one gunshot fired. Limited information is available at post time, but police were sent to a call at around 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2018, to the Hollis Commons Apartments off Airport Road for a domestic incident that that started in an apartment on the second floor and then spilled out into a hallway and then onto the first floor.

According to scanner chatter, at least two men were reportedly involved in the incident with a woman also screaming for police to be called. Other callers reported hearing at least one gun shot and at least one man threatening to shoot another man.

Firefighters were then sent to stage for the police at around 9:45 p.m., in case they were needed to assist. At about 10:15 p.m., firefighters cleared from the scene.

Police are currently investigating the incident and have the scene under control, according to police at the scene.
