Powerball Jackpot Reaches $900 Million

New Hampshire Lottery: Cash option payout expected to be $558 million; if no winner, Powerball could reach $1.3 billion on Wednesday.

CONCORD, NH - The nation’s largest Powerball jackpot in history has just gotten bigger: New Hampshire Lottery officials have confirmed that today’s jackpot has grown to $900 million.

The Powerball jackpot has been increasing since Nov. 4, 2015. The one-time cash payout is projected to increase to $558 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are before taxes).

If there is no Grand Prize winner for tonight’s Powerball drawing, the estimated jackpot for next Wednesday, January 13, 2016, will be $1.3 billion.

Powerball tickets are on sale at more than 1,250 retailers in New Hampshire until 9:50 p.m. Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. Drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11 p.m.
