Powerball Lottery Jackpot Jumps To $526 Million
Wednesday's Powerball jackpot is more than half a billion dollars or around a $284 million one-time cash payout before taxes.
CONCORD, NH — The Powerball jackpot is up over half a billion dollars again, according to lottery officials.
The jackpot has been growing since Nov. 7, 2022, when a California player won the $2.04 billion jackpot — the planet’s largest lottery jackpot ever. The one-time cash payout, before taxes, if anyone wins the Wednesday drawing, will be around $284 million.
Lottery officials said the estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.
