CONCORD, NH — It’s Super Bowl weekend.

But be prepared, dudes and dudettes, for a little extra planning before Valentine’s Day, which is Wednesday.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for central and southern New Hampshire, warning of a winter storm system passing through the region on Monday and Tuesday, which has “the potential to impact our region.” The alert stated, “While confidence remains low at this time, significant impacts are possible.”

For this weekend, expect cloudy skies with highs in the mid-40s on Friday, with forecasters saying it will be a bit breezy with wind gusts as high as 20 mph. Fog will roll in during the evening.

Rain is slated for Saturday in the late afternoon, with fog before noon. Highs will be in the lower 50s, and lows in the mid-30s.

The sun returns for Sunday, with temps in the mid-40s and lows in the 30s.
