Prepare for Saturday Work, Water Shut Off in Concord
Here's an update from the Concord Main Street Project.

CONCORD, NH - If you haven't been downtown since work started this spring, it's pretty clear to see crews have wasted no time diving in. We are, without a doubt, in full work mode.
Proof of that are some of the major updates we have for the upcoming week, beginning with work for tomorrow (Saturday, April 9, 2016). In the interest of making up some time, two crews will be working throughout the day Saturday, in the street portion only of the work zone, lowering manhole frames in order to prepare for the reclaiming of pavement, which will occur Wednesday (April 13, 2016).
Major update #2: A controlled water shutoff from Hills Avenue to Thorndike Street will take place Thursday (April 14, 2016) night, beginning at 11 p.m. The shutoff will last until approximately 6 a.m. on Friday. Businesses and residents in this area on South Main Street should prepare accordingly. It's suggested to have water on hand prior to the shutoff. If your water is cloudy or dark in the morning, running your water for a few minutes should clear it up.

Construction throughout the work zone will continue through the week as normal. Southbound vehicles can expect lane shifts on Monday and Wednesday to accommodate underground utility work. As mentioned previously, pavement reclamation will take place Wednesday from Pleasant Street to as far south as Constantly Pizza.
