Public invited to participate in jazz workshops

CONCORD, N.H.— The public is invited to attend and participate in the Concord Community Music School’s annual Jazz Workshops, November 16-18, 2015, at the Music School, 23 Wall Street, Concord.

The free workshops include composing, jazz for classical pianists, playing by ear, building a band, and recording. All ages and musical abilities are invited to participate, and observers are welcome.

Young Guitarist Workshop

Play a Tune By Ear

Learning by ear demystified! Learn a fiddle tune or two and pick up some tips and tricks for learning by ear. All instruments welcome.

Jazz for Classical Pianists

Release your inner jazz musician. Learn a new approach to chords and improvisation.

Melodic Percussion

Construct a Composition

New Orleans Call and Response

Build a Band

Record Your Song
