Recall For Pancake Mix Sold At NH Walmart Stores

NEW HAMPSHIRE — Pancake and waffle mixes sold in Walmart stores, including in New Hampshire, have been recalled by Continental Mills because of potential foreign contamination, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
Fragments of a cable used to clear the processing line were found in a "limited amount" of product. No foreign contaminants have been found by consumers, and no injuries have been reported, according to the recall posting.
The product affected by the recall is the Great Value Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix with lot code KX2063 and a best by date of Sept. 1, 2023.

The FDA and Continental Mills urge customers who have purchased either product under the recall to either dispose of the product or return it to the store for a replacement or refund. More information is available through the Recall Phone Hotline at 1-800-578-7832, which is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
