A sergeant on patrol on Community Drive in Penacook heard a vehicle revving its engine and attempting to do donuts in the parking lot of Rolfe Park, according to a report.
The sergeant pulled into the parking lot and activated the cruiser’s emergency lights and reportedly heard someone yell, “The cops!” When the officer approached the vehicle, he found two young males and a young female.

“As I got out and approached the vehicle, it appeared that the female was exchanging something with the driver of the car,” the sergeant alleged. “I instructed all three of the subjects to step to the back of the car and keep their hands out of their pockets.”
The two men both walked to the back but the female, later identified as Roy, allegedly began backing away and left the area. The sergeant patted down the males for weapons. Neither had an ID and one stated he was 16. The sergeant leaned in and shut off the car engine and stated it smelled like alcohol. He later reportedly found a bottle of 750 ml bottle of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey on the floor of the rear of the car behind the driver’s seat. One of the boys stated that the owner of the car was urinating in the woods and had just turned the car around for him.
About five to 10 minutes later, Roy and another male came walking from behind the tennis courts. The male stated that he went for a walk because he and Roy were arguing. He didn’t know that the other boy was driving the car and didn’t know there was alcohol in the vehicle, he reportedly stated to the sergeant.
Two other officers arrived at the scene and after some discussion about the situation, Roy was arrested for resisting arrest and possession of alcohol. The three boys were taken into custody, one into protective custody, and transported to headquarters. Roy was allegedly impaired by the alcohol, had numerous mood swings, and was allegedly “passively resistant” during the process of being taken into custody and transported to headquarters, according to the report.
“Roy was rude, disrespectful and uncooperative throughout my interaction with her,” the arresting officer alleged. “She kept repeating over and over that ‘this is not cool’ and ‘this is so stupid.’ Roy also said numerous times that ‘this is why I hate you pigs.’”
When her father arrived to pick her up, the officer alleged, she had to be put back into handcuffs due to “her tumultuous behavior.” She is due in court on June 15.
