Why are you seeking elective office?
I believe in the power of community and the impact that local government can have on our daily lives. As a lifetime resident of Concord, I am deeply invested in its growth and well-being. I am committed to being your voice on the City Council. Your concerns, ideas, and dreams for our neighborhood matter to me. Together, we can address issues that affect us directly and work towards solutions that enhance our quality of life.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The most pressing issue facing the city of Concord is undoubtedly lack of affordable housing. It's disheartening to see hardworking families struggle to secure decent homes due to skyrocketing prices. By working together, we can ensure that Concord remains an inclusive and vibrant city where everyone has access to safe and affordable housing, fostering a stronger, more resilient community for all residents.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The key difference lies in my decades of non-profit board and financial experience. With a track record of successful leadership on various boards and a deep understanding of budgets and financial matters, I bring a unique skill set to the table. My experience equips me to make informed decisions that prioritize the well-being of our community. It's not just about promises; it's about a proven ability to turn ideas into action and to steer our city toward a prosperous future.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
The campaign is centered around several key pillars, including affordable housing initiatives, responsible fiscal management, environmental sustainability, transparent governance, and community engagement. I envision a Concord where residents are empowered, public resources are utilized wisely, and sustainable development is prioritized.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have served on multiple non-profit boards and committees. I am currently serving on the board of directors for Kimball Jenkins, Concord Coalition to End Homelessness, NHTI, and Red River Theaters. I have also served on the Granite United Way Grant Review Committee, as well as finance committees for Kimball Jenkins and Concord Coalition to End Homelessness. I have chaired extremely successful non-profit committees in outreach-development as well as finance.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
There are 24 hours in a day. You sleep 8 hours, and work 8 hours. Make a positive difference in the world with the remaining 8 hours.
