A man with a long rap sheet and warrants that crisscross the state is now back in Concord and has been officially charged for an armed robbery he allegedly committed in March.
, 28, of an unknown address, was arrested at 8:25 a.m. on April 26, and charged with robbery; armed and conspiracy to commit. Police allege that Smart robbed a Garvins Falls Road couple back on March 25.
According to Lt. of the , Smart was arrested by the on April 10, in Florida. According to florida.arrests.org, Smart was arrested on Old Crystal River Road in Hernando, Fla. He was held on $200,000 cash bail and arraigned on April 26.

“The Marshall’s service was instrumental in getting him,” O’Malley said. “We were getting tips all along, through the [Concord Regional] Crimeline, and if we got anything of value, we passed it along to them.”
For a while after the alleged robbery, O’Malley said the police received a lot of tips that helped in eventually apprehending Smart.

At the scene of the crime, according to an arrest report, police gathered tape, gloves, handcuffs, a butterfly knife, a number of glass pipes with residue on them, a syringe, a scale, spoons, and a bag. Police also alleged that Smart stole $500 in cash, an HP laptop, and a 29-inch LG flat screen television.
O’Malley said Smart also had outstanding warrants from Chichester, Derry, and communities in Rockingham County.
