Rock On Foundation Rocks White Park

On Saturday, Aug. 15, Concord 250 is partnering with the Rock On Foundation to present a free day-long festival to celebrate Concord’s 250th anniversary with events spanning across White Park.

Set up will include a world-class stage and sound system, kicking off with historical and community programming from 1 to 3 p.m. Local bands like The Tripping Souls then take the stage, and performances by Cults and Hamilton Leithauser will cap off the musical portion of the night.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, local vendors will set up shop in the parking lot, and attendees can enjoy the Family Fun Zone. Local high school basketball players will also take the court in the Midsummer Hoops Classic. At the end of the evening, Concord 250 will present a fireworks display (estimated start time: 9:30 p.m.). Two-time NBA Champion and Concord native Matt Bonner will host the day’s festivities with his brother Luke, the Executive Director of Rock On Foundation.
