Concord police dispatch heard about the crash and sent two officers to assist because New Hampshire State Police were busy at another drunken driving stop near Exit 11 and another call on I-89 in Sutton.

Later, one officer was put back into service while one remained at the scene. State police arrived later.

EMTs spoke to a patient and then requested a second ambulance. At least one person was taken to Concord Hospital. It is unknown, at post time, if there was a second person injured. Both ambulances were back in service a little past 2 a.m.

Officers at the scene could not identify a man at the scene of the crash. Later, after comparing a prior booking photo and other information gathered, they were able to, and realized he had been involved in other crashes and incidents in the city. He was given a citation at Concord Hospital.

The roadway was reopened around 2:15 a.m.
