Concord Fire and Rescue teams and an officer were sent to the intersection of Long Pond Road and Acorn Drive at just before 11 p.m. for a report of a rollover. When the officer arrived, the driver, Kendall, was already being assisted by EMTs in a Volkswagen Jetta with Tennessee plates that was on its side.
“The operator was being held into place inside the vehicle by his seatbelt as the vehicle was on its side with the driver side up,” the office noted. “The vehicle was facing south towards Hopkinton RD. CFD told the male operator to stop moving around that they would help him get out of the vehicle.”

Kendall reportedly refused medical attention saying that he was OK. The officer asked where he was coming from and he reportedly said Penuche’s in Bicentennial Square and that he had been out with a friend. The officer questioned Kendall about what he had had to drink and alleged that he was giving off “a strong odor” of alcohol and that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy.
“He had a little blood on his left eyelid,” the officer noted.
Kendall was questioned about where he was heading and allegedly stated that he was driving on Hopkinton Road, took a right onto Long Pond Road, and then came around the corner and didn’t know what happened next but lost control of the vehicle.
“The area that Kendall had the accident was straight and level and there were no corners,” the officer reported.
Kendall agreed to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was also given a summons for speeding. Kendall is due in court on July 13.
