News reports are surfacing that the Obama Administration's National Security Agency (NSA) has taken spying to an unprecidented level. According to one of the reports, "John Chambers, CEO of networking equipment giant Cisco, (wrote a letter) to President Obama. Chambers’ letter accuses NSA of secretly intercepting international shipments of Cisco products and implanting backdoor spy tools then repacking the equipment with a factory seal before sending them on to the intended customer.
"Chambers writes, '[i]f these allegations are true, these actions will undermine confidence in our industry and in the ability of technology companies to deliver products globally. … We simply cannot operate this way.'"
Jim Rubens, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, issued the following statement:

"NSA’s unconstitutional spying is now killing domestic technology exports and must be stopped immediately. Jeanne Shaheen and those now in office must demand an immediate halt to these practices. Congress must immediately defund all unconstitutional NSA activity."
