Scattered Thunderstorms Expected To Hit NH
Breaking: The NWS issued a "Hazardous Weather Outlook" alert for the Granite State warning of gusty winds, small hail, and heavy rain.

GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for most of the Granite State this afternoon warning of storms on the horizon. The alert was issued at 2:50 p.m. on July 17, 2017. It runs through this evening.
“Scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and early this evening could produce gusty winds, small hail and locally heavy rainfall,” the alert noted.
Merrimack, western and central Hillsborough, and interior Rockingham Counties are all covered in the alert.

The storms are currently in the New York area and are expected to intensify later today.

The storms are also expected to be “strong to severe,” the NWS noted on Facebook earlier today.
