CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help finding a potentially “armed and dangerous” fugitive with “violent tendencies” who may be in New Hampshire, Maine, or Massachusetts.

Melissa Ann Giuliana is white, 30, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs around 210 pounds. She has brown eyes and blonde hair. Giuliana has several tattoos, including an umbrella and cherries on her right arm, stars on her left arm, and a dagger, heart, and a dragon on her chest. She also has nose and face piercings.

Giuliana is wanted on warrants out of Rockingham County Superior Court and by the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department on a probation violation after connected to possession of fentanyl, assault with a weapon, and operating after suspension charges, according to corrections.

Giuliana “absconded from NH probation” in November 2023, investigators said, but was found in February and released to a residential program but never showed up. After failing to appear in court in mid-March, another warrant was issued.

“Giuliana intentionally backed a stolen car into a police vehicle,” the corrections department said in an alert, “nearly hitting an officer before fleeing and evading arrest until the following day.”

After Giuliana was captured in Massachusetts, she posted bail and was released. The next day, she was arrested again, this time, in Tewksbury, MA.

“Despite this,” the alert stated, “she posted bail once more and was released.”

On July 10, she failed to appear at a court date in Lynn, MA.

Investigators said Giuliana may be driving in a gray 2014 Honda CR-V. She has criminal history in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, including drug, theft, cruelty to animals, and assault charges. Giuliana has lived in North Hampton, Carroll County, Lynn, MA, and Maine.

According to superior court records, Giuliana was accused of drug possession, controlled premises, and driving after revocation or suspension after an incident in North Hampton on Aug. 31, 2022. She pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor controlled premises charge in January 2023 and received a 12-month sentence and a $620 fine, both suspended, for two years. Giuliana was also required to seek drug treatment.

But about five weeks later, she was arrested in North Hampton on second-degree assault-firearm and bodily injury, reckless conduct-deadly weapon, possession of a controlled drug, and simple assault. According to WMUR-TV, the armed assault incident occurred on Seabreeze Drive and required the Seacoast Emergency Response Team to be activated.

A month later, she failed to appear at a dispositional conference hearing. In July 2023, she pleaded guilty to the drug possession count and received a 12-month sentence, suspended for two years, with 107 days time served. Giuliana was also required to seek drug treatment.

About four months later, she was accused of violation of probation or parole. On Feb. 20, a motion was made to revoke her bail and a warrant was issued. But the warrant came back as returned mail on March 4. At a probation violation hearing 10 days later, she was found in violation and a motion was made to impose the suspended sentence on April 25.

The case remains active.
