Seaplane Crashes In Gilford Near Sanders Bay On Winnipesaukee: Reports
The single-engine plane overturned on its roof in the area of Weirs Road and Route 11. Fire and rescue teams are at the scene.
GILFORD, NH — A seaplane has reportedly crashed in Gilford not far from Sanders Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee, according to alerts online.
Rockingham Alerts reported at 4:30 p.m. that the single-engine plane overturned onto its roof. Lakes Region fire and rescue teams were all called to the scene. Injuries, at post time, were unknown.
The crash appeared to be mere feet from the Laconia Airport.
