Search Warrant Leads To Meth Bust: Court
Thomas Yeaton of Hooksett faces charges in Pittsfield after police requested a search warrant of his vehicle after a drug arrest last year.

CONCORD, NH — A local man is facing charges after a search warrant of his vehicle allegedly yielded methamphetamine, according to a Concord District Court affidavit. Thomas Yeaton, 28, of Hooksett, is facing possession of a controlled/narcotic drug and possession of a controlled/narcotic drug inside a motor vehicle charges after an incident last year. On Dec. 14, 2016, an officer conducted a search warrant on Yeaton’s vehicle after approval from a Concord District Court judge.

A K-9 unit searched the vehicle and alerted officers to an area beneath the driver’s seat during the search. A sergeant looked in the area and allegedly discovered a straw and a clear plastic bag with crystal rocks in it, according to the affidavit. Inside a compartment, 10 empty small clear plastic baggies were also allegedly found as well as a second straw.
The officer used a field test kit to check the crystals and they allegedly came back positive for methamphetamine. All of the evidence was packaged and submitted to the state for testing, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit was submitted on Jan. 8, 2017, and issued against Yeaton on July 26.
