Sedan, SUV Crash At Busy Concord Intersection: Watch

One person was taken to Concord Hospital on Wednesday with a head laceration injury after a crash at Fisherville Road and Bog Road.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police, as well as fire and rescue teams, were sent to a crash at the intersection of Fisherville Road and Bog Road in Penacook on Wednesday.

Just past 8 p.m., police dispatch began receiving calls about a crash between two white vehicles at the intersection. One caller reported hearing a child crying at the scene, dispatch told officers heading to the area.

About 15 minutes before, dispatch received a tip from New Hampshire State Police about a vehicle complaint involving a white car with Massachusetts plates in the area of Exit 17 at Interstate 93. The dispatcher asked officers to check on the vehicles to see if either was connected to the state police tip.

When police arrived, the first officer requested fire and rescue teams to the scene due to a head laceration injury. The officer also requested more officers to deal with traffic.

Neither vehicle had a Massachusetts registration. The crash was between a Hyundai Sonata sedan with a New Hampshire registration and a Volkswagen SUV with a Maine registration.

A second ambulance was requested just before 8:15 p.m.

Later, one woman was taken to Concord Hospital.

Above All and Patsy’s were requested to tow the vehicles.
