Sheriffs, Local Police Make Heroin Busts

Catherine Gagne, David Lake, and Charles Schapperle will all be arraigned in Concord District Court on Monday.

The Pittsfield Police Department, along with the NH Drug Task Force, The Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office and the Chichester Police Department arrested three subjects last week for the possession and sales of a controlled drug, heroin, according to a press statement.

Following a month’s long investigation by Pittsfield investigators and the task force the following people were arrested:

Catherine Gagne, 41, of Pittsfield, pictured right, was arrested on three counts of unlawful sale of a controlled drug, heroin, and possession of a controlled drug, heroin.

At the time of her arrest, Gagne was out on multiple bail orders for possession of a controlled drug for pending charges out of the Pittsfield and Salem Police Departments. Gagne is currently being held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections on $20,000 cash bail.

David Lake, 58, of Pittsfield, pictured left, was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled drug. Lake is currently being held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections on $10,000 cash bail.

Charles Schapperle, 28, of Pittsfield, was arrested on three counts of unlawful sale of a controlled drug, heroin. Schapperle is currently being held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections on $20,000 cash bail.

All three subjects will be arraigned Monday morning in Concord District Court.
