Shooting Incident Reported at Mennino Place Apartments
Breaking: A man was injured by a gunshot wound on Storrs Street in Concord this afternoon.
CONCORD, NH — Concord Police are investigating a shooting incident this afternoon at an apartment building on Storrs Street, according to alerts and scanner chatter online. Concord Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the Mennino Place Apartments at 51 Storrs St., an apartment building originally constructed as an artist colony but that is now low income housing, for a report of a man injured by a gunshot wound. Police arrived at the scene to stage for firefighters and secured an apartment on the third floor at a little past 5 p.m. on June 19, 2017, according to scanner chatter.
A man in his late 30s was injured in the hand and transported to Concord Hospital. Specifics about the type of gun that was used, whether anyone else was involved, or more information about the injury were not available at post time.
