Shots Reportedly Fired During Road Rage Incident

Police are attempting to track down the driver of a Pontiac that reportedly fired a gun into the air this afternoon in Concord near Loudon.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police, Concord Police, and Loudon Police are reportedly investigating a road rage incident involving a vehicle firing a gun into the air in the city of Concord and then fleeing the area into Loudon, according to scanner chatter. At around 4 p.m., initial reports were circulating about the road rage incident on Route 106 in Concord, with the reported vehicle heading out of the city.

The driver was described as a white male with dark hair driving a dark green early 1990s Pontiac Firebird coupe with a New Hampshire plate. The vehicle is registered to a woman from New Hampton.

Not long after the initial call, troopers stopped a vehicle at the Z-1 Express in Loudon. That vehicle was released from the scene because the plate did not match, according to scanner chatter. Another witness called police reporting that a dark green vehicle was seen racing northwest from Loudon at a very high rate of speed.
