Six Arrested at State Police Sobriety Checkpoint
Troopers check more than 350 vehicles on July 4, 2015.

New Hampshire State Police along with the Bristol Police Department held a sobriety checkpoint on Route 104 in Bristol near Ayers Island Road on July 4, 2015, at 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. on July 5, according to a report.
According to Sgt. Victor Muzzey, 354 vehicles were screened during the checkpoint. Six drivers were issued warnings for motor vehicle violations and seven were screened with field sobriety tests.
The following people were arrested:

- Alyssa Judkins, 20, New Hampton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Christopher Wodeck, 29, Chicopee, MA, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
- Nicole Spurling, 25, Bristol, was arrested for reckless operation, speeding, and a warrant.
- Thomas Davis, 44, Bristol, was arrested on a warrant.
- Spencer Macdonald, 19, New Hampton, was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
- Nicholas White, 20, Bristol, was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

“The New Hampshire State Police along with the Bristol Police is committed to taking an aggressive stance in utilizing Sobriety Checkpoints as a tool to deter and arrest intoxicated drivers,” Muzzey stated in a press release. “New Hampshire has some of the most aggressive laws in the country to fight the intoxicated driver and we are dedicated to using those tools to ensure safe travel throughout the state.”
