Slippery Roads In Concord Cause Crash On West Parish Road: Watch
A driver and a passenger were examined by EMTs and were OK after an SUV crashed into a tree on Saturday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were called to West Parish Road for a crash on Saturday.
As the freezing rain and snow continued into the evening, temperatures began to drop, causing the roads and streets in the city to become slippery. Around 7 p.m., police dispatch received a 911 call about a crash on West Parish Road but the dispatcher could not reach anyone while attempting to call back.
Later, dispatch reached the caller and reported an SUV had crashed into a tree. They also requested fire and rescue teams to the scene.

The first arriving officer warned others, “it’s pretty slick on West Parish.”
“Copy,” another officer said, “thank you.”

The first officer reported two occupants were in the SUV, a Hyundai, and no apparent injuries.
Later, after firefighters and EMTs arrived, the driver and a passenger were checked. Both were shaken up but OK and refused transportation to the hospital.
Family members of both the driver and passenger arrived at the scene to assist.
Fire and rescue teams cleared around 7:30 p.m. and a tow truck was requested.
