Smoke In An Epsom Home Possibly Caused By Electrical Issues: Watch

Epsom, Allenstown, Pembroke, and Pittsfield firefighters were sent to Windymere Drive for a report of smoke inside a home Saturday.

EPSOM, NH — Multiple teams of firefighters were sent to Epsom on Saturday for a report of smoke condition inside a home.

Around 2:30 p.m., capital region dispatch began receiving reports about smoke inside a home on Windymere Drive near Route 28. Epsom firefighters along with engines from Allenstown, Pembroke, and Pittsfield were all requested to the house. Command suggested firefighters approach the scene from both sides of Windymere Drive.

At just before 3 p.m., command said they had the fire under control and requested firefighters who had not arrived yet to return to their stations. Command also said they believed the smoke condition was caused by electrical issues.

Firefighters ventilated the building and cleared the scene later.
