Some NH Schools Received Additional Threats: Concord Principal
A widely circulated text message threatening violence against schools ID'd as "LMS, LHS, CHS, GHS, and CES" was found to be not viable.

CONCORD, NH — Some schools in New Hampshire received additional threats on Friday targeted by the initials of their schools, according to officials.
An additional text message that was widely circulated threatened violence on Dec. 17 against a string of schools identified as “LMS, LHS, CHS, GHS, and CES.” The message, which was full of swear words and racist terms, threatened violence, including bombs, against the schools.
The message was separate from the original December 17 TikTok Shooting Challenge alert schools were warned about on Thursday.

At Concord High School, the school’s administrative team and new School Resource Officer Felix Mensah evaluated the new threat messages and concluded that none of the messages were a viable threat against the school, according to Principal Mike Reardon.
The school did have extra officers in attendance on Friday.

“We understand how troubling all this is to parents, and today we have had an unusually high number of student absences,” he told parents via email. “We will continue to monitor and evaluate these situations and take appropriate steps in response. Truly (and unfortunately) we live in troubling times, which makes the stability and safety of our schools all the more vital.”
At Griffin Memorial School, an elementary school in Litchfield, the school was evacuated around 9 a.m. on Friday with police and Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department employees searching the school.
Students in Litchfield received screenshots from another social media platform with the threat. All three schools were evacuated and the bomb squad was called in to search Griffin Memorial School.
Warnings were sent to parents from a number of school districts around the state on Thursday. It is unknown at post time how many schools received the Friday bombing racist text message.
