Enjoy a refreshing selection of brews by local and regional masters including White Birch Brewing, Henniker Brewing Company, Sebago Brewing Company, Great Rhythm Brewing Co., Smuttynose Brewing Company, and Tuckerman Brewing Co. The Concord Food Co-op is pleased to host this tasting to kick off the Northern New England Premier of the SNOB Film Festival’s 7:30 pm screening of “Beer Hunter The Movie: The Story of Michael Jackson” at Red River Theatres.

Also in celebration of all things beer, the Co-op’s award-winning Celery Stick Café will feature pub fare on the Hot Bar all day from 10:30 am to 7 pm. Enjoy your meal in the Café seating area, or grab your meal to go. The menu includes Hand-Cut Chili Cheese Fries, Chicken Wings, Pulled Pork Sliders, Fried Mac & Cheese Balls, Havarti Dill Smoked Turkey Bacon Quesadillas, Onion Rings, Sheppard’s Pie, Teriyaki Steak, Dragon Balls, BBQ St. Louis Ribs with Grilled Onions, and the Co-op’s famous Beer Batter Fish & Chips. Everything is made fresh from scratch with all-natural ingredients in-house and served cafeteria-style. Get as much as you’d like of anything you’d like for just $8.49 per pound.

“A lot of people don’t think of beer when the think of the Co-op, but we’re looking forward to showcasing some of the great microbrews available,” says Shane Smith, Co-op Outreach Coordinator & Beer Manager. “We’re honored that we were invited to participate in this community event, and I always enjoy an opportunity to hang out with beer nerds and eat onion rings.”
