Fight At Morning Star Condo Complex Still Under Investigation By Concord Police
No charges have been filed after a fight on Monday at the Loudon Road complex lands one man in the emergency room, another man questioned.
CONCORD, NH — One man was taken to Concord Hospital on Monday after a stabbing at a Loudon Road apartment complex.
At just before 7:30 p.m., police dispatch received a call from a 911-only phone reporting a stabbing at the Morning Star condominium complex. The dispatcher said all she had was a man saying he was stabbed and then the phone disconnected. She heard children in the background, possibly crying.
“I have almost no information,” she said. “I do not know his name or building number.”

Concord fire and rescue teams were requested to stage across the street while police figured out what was happening.
The first responding officer said there were no people outside of the buildings. Later, he spoke to some people in the back left of the complex who said they had not heard any issues.

Another officer found two men at Uno’s Car Wash nearby and attempted to speak to them. The officer said one was “being uncooperative,” according to scanner chatter. The officer checked on one of the men, knowing he had an active criminal trespass warrant.
“I’ve got a warrant for him,” dispatch confirmed.
The man was arrested, and the officer requested another unit.
At the complex, one of the officers found the victim and reported he was cut in the face. The victim showed where the incident happened, gave a possible first name of a suspect, and then EMTs gave him medical care. He was taken to Concord Hospital later. While at the hospital, an interpreter was requested for the victim.
Police found the possible suspect, accused him of being intoxicated, and having a small cut on his hand. He refused treatment by EMTs, an officer said, and also gave a consent search of his apartment. Other officers also canvassed the area, searching around the buildings for clues or a weapon.
At the hospital, an officer said the victim refused an audio or written statement. After receiving a medical waiver for the investigation, the officer left the hospital.
On Tuesday, Deputy Chief John Thomas said no arrests had been made connected to the incident but the investigation was ongoing.
