Stabbing Reported Inside Concord Apartment Building

Breaking: Building at Regency Hill Estates where Operation Granite Hammer drug bust occurred was the scene of an incident last night.

CONCORD, NH — Concord Police are investigating a stabbing last night at the Regency Hill Estates apartment complex on East Side Drive, according to a press statement. At just after 11 p.m. on Feb. 10, 2017, officers were called to Building 2 at the complex – the same building where a massive drug raid took place on Jan. 25, leading to 11 being arrested – for a report of “an altercation between two people in which an individual had been stabbed,” according to Lt. Cori Casey of the Concord Police Department.

“The male victim was transported to Concord Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries,” Casey noted. It is unknown at post time if the stabbing incident is related in any way to the Operation Granite Hammer action last month but Casey did state that both of the “involved parties” were “known to investigators,” adding that the public is “not believed to be in danger at this time.”

Investigators, however, are asking for anyone with information about this case to call police at 603-225-8600 or leave an anonymous tip with the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100.
