“Chris is known as a smart, thoughtful, yet diplomatic person whose savvy political sense has brought the district through some difficult periods of budget cuts and anti-government public sentiment,” he said.
Former Kimball-Walker Principal Susan Noyes, who is now a superintendent in Moultonborough, said, “Working with her leadership has been the highlight of my career in education,” adding that Rath’s “strength of character” and calm demeanor in the toughest situations were traits worth commending.
Rath has been working in education since the late 1960s. She has been in the Concord district since 1980 and recently was awarded a contact extension.
