State Police Bag NH Man With Kilo Of Fentanyl: Report
Kory Almand of Manchester was arrested yesterday after a four-month investigation by local and state police, as well Homeland Security

CONCORD, NH — A Queen City man was arrested yesterday and held on $500,000 cash bail after a multi-month Operation Granite Hammer drug investigation in New Hampshire, according to state police. Kory Almand, 34, of Manchester, was arrested on July 25, 2017, and charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute the controlled drug fentanyl, three counts of sale of a controlled drug fentanyl, one count of felon in possession of a firearm, and one count of resisting arrest. His arrested was made by the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics and Investigations Unit and the Mobile Enforcement Team along with members of Homeland Security Investigations and the Manchester Police Department-SIU after investigating alleged drug dealing in Manchester and surrounding communities.

Almand also had an outstanding warrant out of Maine on a probation violation for dangerous drugs. He was arraigned in Manchester District Court yesterday and is being held.

“This investigation, which was responsible for the seizure of nearly one kilogram of fentanyl, was a direct result of inter-agency cooperation funded under Operation Granite Hammer,” Sgt. Christopher Roblee of the NHSP-NIU said in a statement.
