State Police, Concord Officers Searching For Woman Who Escaped From Custody At Concord Hospital

CONCORD, NH — The police activity in the city’s West End is a search for a woman who escaped the custody of state hospital officials while being treated at Concord Hospital.

Around 12:30 p.m., Concord police received information from New Hampshire State Police that a woman had escaped from Concord Hospital. New Hampshire Hospital staff had taken her to the hospital for treatment. The woman was transported from Carroll County to the state hospital after being accused of making threats to kill police officers and other comments.

She was identified as Keri Pagnozzi, 46, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs around 130 pounds. She has a shaved head, a black T-shirt, gray sweatpants, and green sneakers.

During the search, police found items believed to be Pagnozzi’s belongings on Rum Hill Road in Concord, not far from the hospital.

State police deployed two helicopters to find Pagnozzi. They have been searching the West End for a couple of hours.

Around 3 p.m., police and troopers have expanded the search toward the South End, Hopkinton Road, the St. Paul’s School campus, and the North End, and have also been searching the city trails.

Tim Herbert, the superintendent of schools in Concord, said Concord High School was not placed in lockdown during the search, because the department was advised she was not a threat to the public.

State police, around 3:15 p.m., issued alerts and asked the public to stay away from Pagnozzi if they see her, but to call 911 immediately.
