New York Woman's Body Recovered From New Hampshire River: Update

LINCOLN, NH — The body of a New York woman, reported missing since March 8, was recovered in Lincoln, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Maggie Victoria Borrero, 33, was last seen walking on Main Street in Lincoln and was reported missing about four days later. State police as well as Lincoln police posted public alerts requesting assistance finding her. On Wednesday, state police reported her body was found along the east branch of the Pemigewasset River on Tuesday.

"There does not appear to be a concern for the safety of the general public at this time," according to Lt. Gary Prince of Troop F.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

Not much is known about Borrero publicly but she had previously worked as a model and actress, according to her Explore Talent website.
