State Police: Woman Was on I-393 Driving the Wrong Way

Jennifer Gallagher of Concord was arrested last night; she allegedly blew three times the legal limit in a breath test.

A local woman will be arraigned on a drunk driving charge after an incident last night on I-393, according to New Hampshire State Police.

A trooper was called to a report of a vehicle traveling west in the eastbound lane on I-393 in Concord, according to a report.

The trooper stopped the vehicle near Exit 1. After conducting an investigation, the trooper arrested Jennifer Gallagher, 49, of Concord, for driving while intoxicated.

After being transported to the Troop D barracks on Old Turnpike Road, Gallagher was given a breath test that allegedly revealed she had a blood alcohol level of three times the legal limit, according to state police. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, subsequent offense, and transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections due to her alleged level of intoxication. She’s due in court on Jan. 5, 2015.
