Statehouse Reporter Landrigan Let Go

Nashua Telegraph decides to close its Statehouse bureau.

An institution in the halls of the Statehouse and Legislative Office Building, political reporter Kevin Landrigan, was laid off by the Nashua Telegraph on Aug. 12, after it decided to close its Statehouse bureau, according to the New Hampshire Business Review.

According to a memo from the newspaper’s editor, Phil Kincade, it was a difficult decision to close the bureau, “not just because of the hole it creates in our news coverage, but it also means saying goodbye to one of the Telegraph’s most loyal, hard working and respected employees.” Landrigan’s content was also often featured in other newspapers.

Landrigan had worked for the newspaper since the 1980s and been at the Statehouse for at least two decades.
