#StephStrong Effort Continues for the Riley Children

GoFundMe.com effort started to raise college money for kids after military, civilian nurse's passing.

A GoFundMe effort has been posted to assist the children of former Lt. Col. Stephanie Riley, who recently lost her battle with cancer on Dec. 29, 2014,, to help them save money for college.

Shawn Riley, a local firefighter, noted on Facebook that the Concord community had been so gracious helping his family get through the loss of his wife Steph but that others were still offering to help in some way. One way would be to support the future college expenses for their children, Shane and Samantha.

“(P)lease don’t feel obligated to donate and don’t give more then you can spare,” he stated. “Your thoughts and well wishes mean just as much.”
