Strong, Even Severe Thunderstorms Expected In New Hampshire Tuesday
Update: Forecasters are warning of gusty winds, hail, downpours, and possible tornadoes in Hillsborough, Merrimack, and Rockingham counties.

GRAY, ME — Both AccuWeather.com and the National Weather Service are warning of strong and severe thunderstorms for New Hampshire on Tuesday.
Forecasters warned, as the hot temperatures and humid conditions roll into the region, so will a wave of thunderstorms right behind them.
Into the afternoon and early evening, a large band of thunderstorms is arriving in the state and bringing with them, the potential for torrential downpours, hail, damaging wind gusts of up to 65 mph, as well as isolated tornadoes.

At 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, forecasters issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the state. At 4:15 p.m., the storm watch was updated to a severe thunderstorm warning.

The storms are expected to arrive in Concord and central New Hampshire around 5 p.m., on the Seacoast around 6:30 p.m., and in Nashua and surrounding communities around 6 p.m.
The storms are expected to run through 9 p.m. and are expected to be weaker during the evening hours.
For Wednesday and the rest of the week, more normal temps for the season are expected for the Granite State.
