‘Strong Thunderstorms’ Heading to NH

Breaking: The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook alert for the Granite State. Here are the details.

GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for New Hampshire on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, warning of strong thunderstorms heading to the state this afternoon and evening.

“A strong cold front will move through the region this afternoon and evening bringing the potential for showers and thunderstorms,” according to the alert. “Some strong thunderstorms are possible...with gusty winds and heavy rainfall.”

Expect a temperature drop in the wake of the storms. No hazardous weather is expected for the rest of the week, according to the NWS.
