Student’s Poster Featured At Psychological Meeting: College Notes
College students from Concord, Nashua, Bow, and Milford, were honored recently for academics. Here's a roundup of their accolades.
Grace Lily Buttrick of Nashua was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society of AACSB-accredited business schools, at a ceremony conducted by the Western New England Chapter officers. The banquet, held April 18, 2019, at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA, was attended by more than 100 students, guests, faculty and staff. Buttrick is majoring in Entrepreneurship.
Heidi Woetzel, a Junior Elementary Education major of Concord, was among approximately 540 Bob Jones University students named to the Spring 2019 President's List. The President's List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.
Calvin Cregg of Concord, graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health degree during the 123rd annual commencement held May 4.

Christina Laird, a Sophomore Journalism and Mass Communication major of Nashua, was among approximately 540 Bob Jones University students named to the Spring 2019 President's List.
Marrissa H. Allen of Milford was inducted into the St. Lawrence University chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society. Allen is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in English and psychology. Allen attended Milford High School.

Curry College is proud to announce that Katherine JeanTenney of Nashua, has been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Curry College's Chapter, Theta at Large, began in 1953 when it was chartered as only the seventh Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.
Cassidy Thompson, of Concord, was one of 25 students from Susquehanna University who recently presented research at the 90th annual Eastern Psychological Association Meeting in New York. Thompson presented a poster titled "Differences in anxiety based on family of origin." Thompson, a psychology major, is a 2016 graduate of Concord High School and the daughter of Scott and Rebecca Thompson.
Curry College is proud to announce that Shea Mathews of Concord, has been inducted into the Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society. This Honor Society inducts up to ten percent of the Senior, and up to five percent of the Junior Class. Shea is one of 40 undergraduate students who has been inducted this year. The objective of the society is to promote and recognize academic excellence at Curry College. It is named for the famous inventor who was an early chancellor at Curry College.
Margaret B. Jensen of Bow has been selected for membership into the St. Lawrence University chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the national biological honorary society. Jensen is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in conservation biology. Jensen attended Bow High School. To be eligible for membership, students must have an overall grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.25, have completed four biology courses and have earned a 3.5 GPA in those courses.
