‘Stuff-A-Cruiser’ Food Drives Held in Concord

Officers, the NH Food Bank, and the Friendly Kitchen will be collecting food on Sept. 18, Sept. 23, Sept. 25, at supermarkets in the city.

CONCORD, NH — The Concord Police Department and NH Food Bank are teaming up to host three “Stuff-A-Cruiser” Food Drives in Concord during the next week as part of Hunger Action Month, a nationwide awareness campaign designed to encourage residents and businesses to take action to fight hunger. The first drive will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016.

Police, officials from the food bank, and representatives of the Friendly Kitchen will be at the Market Basket on Fort Eddy Road to accept non-perishable, non-glass food donations from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A second drive will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, at the Shaw’s Supermarket at its Fort Eddy Road location.

Hannaford will also be helping out. Food will be collected on Ford Eddy Road there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25.

If you can’t make it to any of these events, a collection box is also located at Concord Police Department headquarters.
