#SubscribeSunday – NH Patch Sites Deliver Free News To Your Inbox
You can support our award-winning, independent, online journalism by subscribing to a free New Hampshire Patch site newsletter today.

CONCORD, NH — Newspapers around the country are encouraging readers to take advantage of the holiday spirit and signup for subscriptions to support their journalism. The effort was created by The Boston Globe as a way of boosting paid online or print subscriptions while consumers are considering all of the other purchases they are making like Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday. But newspapers aren't the only media outlets who need you to #SubscribeSunday.
A lot of the traffic on Patch.com, including the 12 news and community websites covering 13 communities here in New Hampshire, comes from newsletter subscriptions. We have a morning newsletter that arrives in your inbox at around 6 a.m. each day with the top stories, calendar information, classifieds, local Neighbor Posts, and other stuff. We also have breaking news alerts, too, for important things happening in and around your community, and a statewide roundup that is published and sent out six days a week at the end of the day, in case you missed all of the headlines.
When you click on the links inside of these newsletters, we derive revenue from them and it makes our advertisers very happy, too.

It's important to remember that newspapers are not the only business entities that employ journalists or that are in need of the support of the public. Online journalist employment reviews are often rated on not just the work they produce but the interaction they have with their audiences and other digital components and factors.
