Summer Begins, And The Weather In New Hampshire Will Be Nice, Too, For Some Of The Weekend
The National Weather Service is warning of rain this weekend with partly sunny skies and temps in the 80s; wind gust warnings Friday.
CONCORD, NH — Summer is finally here.
On Friday, the seasons officially change, and the weather will feel like it too, according to forecasters.
Expect sunny skies with highs in the 80s. The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook warning on Thursday night, warning of wind gusts as high as 45 mph on Friday.

Overnight lows will drop into the upper 50s.
On Saturday, expect sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s. Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s with rain showers and a light wind.

On Sunday, the rain is expected to continue before 2 p.m. and then, sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s in Concord and the capital region. In Nashua and central and southwestern New Hampshire, expect thunderstorms on Saturday night and Sunday morning. Thunderstorms are expected on the Seacoast, too.
Forecasters also warned of warm temperatures next week.
“There is increasing confidence for the hottest weather of the year so far early next week,” the alert stated. “The combination of heat and humidity may produce heat index values in the middle to upper 90s.”
On Monday, expect temperatures in the mid-90s during the day and low 70s in the evening.
Similar weather is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
