This Sunday, Sept. 20, St. Paul’s Church in Concord joins an estimated 30,000 churches nationwide in inviting community members to give church another try at National Back to Church Sunday. In 2014, more than 26,000 churches across the country participated.
The Sunday, September 20, 10:00 a.m. service at St. Paul’s Church is specially designed for both regular attenders who have been away for the summer and also, especially, for people who stopped going to church, for whatever reason, some time ago – or perhaps have never really gone.
Following the 10:00 a.m. church service, all are welcome to amble across Park St. to the State House Lawn, where festivities are scheduled from 11:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. In addition to music, entertainment, and fun for children, Puppy Love Hot Dogs will be onsite, and the St. Paul’s Famous Annual Pie Contest returns.
