Suncook Valley Chorale Performs this Weekend

A Midwinter's Night Dream concerts held on Friday, Saturday; open sings held later this year.

The Suncook Valley Chorale presents ”A Midwinter’s Night Dream,” a concert of dreamy and dream-themed music from a variety of genres at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, and at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Pembroke Congregational Church at 301 Pembroke St (Route 3).

The program includes classical pieces, Broadway tunes, and some rock and pop. It’s a concert all about dreaming, but we’re not going to put you to sleep--there’s a lot of fun and energy along with dreamy beauty. Tickets $15/$12 student/senior, available at the door or from chorale members.

The Suncook Valley Chorale is a non-auditioned community chorus based in Concord, with more than 60 active members of all ages and backgrounds. Our motto is ”Sing for Joy,” and we joyfully perform a variety of classical and popular pieces. We will accept new members at Open Sing events Jan. 26, and Feb. 2.
