Suspect Shot After He Crashes Stolen Truck
NH AG investigating officer involved shooting on Route 202/9 in Henniker yesterday.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is investigating an officer involved shooting from Nov. 26, after fleeing suspect reportedly crashed his escape vehicle on Route 202/9 in Henniker.
According to an alert from the New Hampshire State Police, at around 4:20 p.m., a BOLO alert went out to officers to be on the lookout for a man who had just committed a robbery in Franklin and had fled in a truck.
The man, Aaron Cadman, 19, had allegedly stolen the truck and hit the owner with it before fleeing the area.

At about 5:15 p.m., an officer in Henniker spotted the truck on Route 202/9. The officer pursued the truck and it later collided with another vehicle and crashed in the road.
“After the crash, the pursuing Henniker police officer attempted to take Cadman into custody,” according to Jeffery A. Strelzin, senior assistant attorney general. “During that interaction, the Henniker officer fired at least one shot and wounded Cadman in the arm. Cadman was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital for treatment of an injury to his arm. That injury does not appear to be life threatening.”

The officer was not injured.
The shooting is under investigation at this time.
